What this actually is
The long version.
Most men I work with don't come in saying they're struggling — they come in exhausted, angry at things that don't warrant it, distant from people they love. This work is direct. It doesn't ask you to perform vulnerability; it asks you to be honest.
Sound familiar?
You might recognize —
- Anger that shows up sideways — irritability, cynicism, withdrawal
- Difficulty naming what you feel, or noticing you feel anything at all
- Sense that your worth is measured only by what you produce
- Fatherhood, partnership, or career transitions you're pretending are fine
- Veterans, first responders, and men of color are welcome here
FAQ
Questions people actually ask.
I've never been to therapy. What's the first session like?
You talk. I ask questions. Nothing about it should feel like a test.
Do you work with veterans?
Yes. Combat and non-combat, moral injury, transition — all welcome.
