What this actually is
The long version.
High-functioning anxiety hides well. You hit the deadlines, you smile in the meeting, you answer the text — and underneath, your body has been braced for months. This work is about actually putting the brace down, not just learning to manage it better.
Sound familiar?
You might recognize —
- Racing mind that won't turn off, especially at night
- You feel behind even when you're ahead
- Chest tightness, jaw clenching, shallow breath you only notice when it stops
- Constant self-monitoring — how you sound, how you're being perceived
- You've read the books, done the breathwork, and still feel this way
FAQ
Questions people actually ask.
Is what I'm dealing with 'anxiety' or just my life?
Both, usually. The point of the work isn't to diagnose you — it's to understand what your nervous system has been carrying and whether it still has to.
How long does anxiety work take?
The relief often comes sooner than people expect; the deeper rewiring takes longer. We'll talk about pacing in the first session.
Do I need medication?
I don't prescribe. If medication is on the table, we can talk through what a good psychiatry referral looks like alongside our work.
