Therapist for Inland Empire commuters and families
A freeway commute toward Los Angeles or Orange County can take time from the conversations waiting at home. I offer therapy by video for adults in Riverside and San Bernardino counties, without an office visit.
The space between commute and home
If the drive home from work is the only quiet part of a day, walking through the door can require another abrupt change of pace. We can look at a real evening: what was asked, what was heard, and which part of the conversation repeated itself. I will not presume a commute explains everything; it may be one condition among several that we need to understand.
Logistics and warehouse work can bring different schedules than a desk job. A session by video removes the trip to an office, not every scheduling difficulty. We can use the free call to talk about whether the format is workable. I would rather tell you honestly what I can offer than pretend a calendar solves the demands of a job or a family.
The Inland Empire includes military families and veterans connected to March Air Reserve Base. If service or a family transition matters to the conversation, I will ask about the specifics rather than claim to know your experience. There can be questions about closeness, a change in roles, or what to say after a long day. We can make room for those questions without turning anyone into a stereotype.
Riverside and San Bernardino counties cover more than one kind of day. A route across the region may connect warehouse work, a school pickup, and a conversation that keeps getting postponed until everyone is tired. I would not treat that sequence as proof of a diagnosis or assume every household operates the same way. I would ask where the friction actually starts: at work, on the road, or in the handoff at home. If the schedule changes from week to week, we can discuss what a regular video appointment would require instead of claiming convenience solves everything. Privacy matters just as much as saved travel time. A parked car is not automatically a good place to speak, and neither is a shared room where someone can hear you. I will help think through the practical setting for a session before we ask you to commit to one. The aim is an honest conversation about what is possible in your particular week, not a generic claim about the Inland Empire.
If a more specific question is where you want to begin, anxiety therapy examines the thought-and-action pattern around a recurring worry; relationship therapy starts with the exchanges that repeat at home; life transitions therapy offers a way to examine a change in work or family roles. We can discuss which, if any, fits on the free call.
You might recognize:
- The transition from a freeway commute to family time feels abrupt
- A warehouse or logistics schedule makes a trip to an office difficult
- The same disagreement returns when everyone is short on time
- A change connected to military service raises questions at home
- A practical scheduling issue points toward a larger relationship pattern
No commute. No waiting room. No one sees you walk in.
I do not have an Inland Empire office. We meet by secure video while you are physically in California, from a private place with a reliable connection. That can remove another drive, though it does not require you to turn your car into a therapy room. On the free 15-minute call, we can discuss what privacy and timing would make a session possible.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW #121584). I do not have a physical office. Sessions run by secure video and are confidential under California law and HIPAA. You can be anywhere in the state.

Do you have an office in Riverside or San Bernardino counties?
No. This is a telehealth-only California practice; sessions are by secure video.
Can I join after a commute?
We can discuss scheduling on the free call. For a session, choose a private place and be physically in California.
Do you work with veterans and military families?
My background includes work with justice-involved individuals, children, and families. I welcome veterans and military families and ask about the specific situation rather than assuming a shared experience.
What if there is a crisis?
For immediate help, call 911 or 988. A contact form and scheduled therapy are not emergency services.
Does online therapy work if I commute between Riverside and San Bernardino counties?
We can discuss a workable appointment time on the free call. A commute itself is not a private therapy setting. For a video session, you need a private place, a reliable connection, and to be physically in California; I do not have an office in either county.
