Therapist for Fresno and Central Valley adults

A workday in Fresno can follow the rhythms of Central Valley agriculture or the industries around it. If a drive to a specialist would add another demand to the week, we can meet by video instead. I offer therapy in English and Spanish.

The specifics

Work, family, and room to speak

A schedule shaped by agricultural work or the businesses connected to it does not always leave an easy hour for a long drive. I cannot change the demands of a job, but we can ask what happens when there is no pause between work and the next family conversation. If a responsibility feels impossible to set down, I will ask what it protects and what it costs rather than tell you to abandon it.

In a bilingual family, a difficult conversation can change when the language changes. The issue may be an expectation about providing, privacy, or what can be said plainly. We can talk in English or Spanish and pay attention to the actual words. I am a Latino man, but I will not assume that makes our histories identical. If I miss a meaning, I want to hear the correction.

Distance from specialists can make telehealth a practical option in the Central Valley. It is not a promise that every format fits every concern. During the free call, I can ask what you hope to discuss and explain how sessions by video work. If another kind of support would make more sense, I will say so without turning that answer into a judgment about you.

Fresno sits at a crossroads between the city and a much wider Central Valley. A day may include work in town, a trip through surrounding agricultural communities, and an evening that belongs to family. The point is not to assign a single story to the place or to you. It is to ask which parts of a real week leave room for a private conversation. If home is busy, we can talk on the consultation call about what privacy would actually require before scheduling anything. Video removes a drive to an office, but it still asks for a place where you can speak without being overheard. I will be direct about that practical limit and work with you to assess whether it is manageable. If you move between English and Spanish at work or at home, we can also discuss which language lets you say a particular thing more precisely. Neither language has to carry the whole conversation.

If a more specific question is where you want to begin, anxiety therapy looks at thought loops that keep a decision running after the workday ends; life transitions therapy makes room for changes in work, family, and direction; relationship therapy looks at the exchange between two people rather than putting the entire problem on one. We can discuss which, if any, fits on the free call.

Sound familiar?

You might recognize:

  • A work schedule leaves little room between one responsibility and the next
  • A family conversation changes meaning between English and Spanish
  • An old expectation shows up in a new relationship
  • A long drive makes a regular appointment harder to consider
  • A practical decision keeps returning to the same underlying question
How telehealth actually works

No commute. No waiting room. No one sees you walk in.

Sessions happen by secure video, not in an office in Fresno. You must be physically in California during each session. A private place and a reliable connection are enough to start discussing whether this format works for you. We can speak English or Spanish. The free 15-minute consultation is a place to ask how I work before deciding whether to book an individual session.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW #121584). I do not have a physical office. Sessions run by secure video and are confidential under California law and HIPAA. You can be anywhere in the state.
