Terapeuta latino, bilingüe, formado en Columbia. Trabajo con adultos que ya probaron lo superficial y quieren algo más honesto. Mi historia ## De dónde vengo . Soy latino. Ser terapeuta bilingüe no es una técnica que aprendí en una capacitación — es la forma en que crecí escuchando a mi familia. Sé lo que es traducir en la sala del doctor cuando eres el hijo. Sé lo que es estar entre dos culturas y no sentirse del todo de ninguna. No trato eso como un tema secundario; es parte del trabajo, cuando corresponde. Estudié mi maestría en trabajo social clínico en la Universidad de Columbia. Soy Trabajador Social Clínico con Licencia en California (CA LCSW #121584). Pero lo que quizás importa más: llegué a esto porque yo mismo he necesitado terapia buena — la que va al fondo — y sé la diferencia entre una que cambia algo y una que solo mata el tiempo. Cómo trabajo ## Trabajo profundo , no soluciones rápidas. Mi trabajo está enraizado en la justicia, la equidad y el respeto por cada persona como adulto. Uso EMDR, TCC, DBT, prácticas de mindfulness y trabajo psicodinámico — según lo que tu situación necesite, no según la caja de herramientas que me gusta más. Comunidades LGBTQ+, BIPOC, veteranos, primeros respondedores, y parejas son bienvenidos. Trabajo con hombres que aprendieron a resolverlo todo solos, con profesionales de alto rendimiento que se ven bien por fuera y viven agotados, y con gente en recuperación que quiere trabajo profundo junto a su programa, no en lugar de él. No prometo resultados. No hay terapeuta serio que lo haga. Lo que sí puedo decir es que la conversación va a ser real.
